Rehman receives Swaralaya-Kairali Award
No matter what level of recognition you have laddered to, but still each and every word of praise and recognition or any award for your contribution acts as a great boost to perform even better. Similar was the case with distinguished music director A.R Rehman who added another feather to his cap by getting the prestigious Swaralaya-Kairali Award for his outstanding contribution.None other than revered music legend K J Jesudas, was there to award the man. It was in the honor of Jesu das himself, that the honour is constituted by Swaralaya cultural forum and Kairali television. All that the musical soul Rehman had to say after receiving the award that comprised of  Rs one lakh, memento and citation was , “I feel greatly honoured by this award. Jesudas has always been my most favourite singer,”
