Russian president calls halt to Georgian war


Russian President Dmitry Medvedev states on Tuesday that he has prepared to end military maneuver against Georgia. He also said that there is no more advancement of Russian troops in Georgia. The statement came minutes earlier when French President Nicolas Sarkozy was too grounded in Moscow to get together with Medvedev to talk about terms and condition for a possible cease fire in Georgia.

Medvedev said, I have made a decision to stop the operation to oblige the Georgian authorities to calm. Invader has been penalized and has earned very significant fatalities. The result ends five days of hostility that start in Georgia region of South Ossetia and extend well into Georgia. Russian president said he would stop military action; a Georgian Interior Ministry official alleged on Tuesday that Russian ammo hit three pipelines transporting oil to the Black seaport of Poti. Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili blamed on Russia of annoying the war to defend a full scale attack of the previous Soviet state. Russians speak Saakashvili assault first in an effort to increase power over South Ossetia.
