Climatic Change: Shows Adverse Effect On Human Health

The United Nations Environment Program has announced that climatic changes are one of the most serious global changes of today’s world. These climatic changes are now showing adverse effects on the health of people. The results are terrifying that could lead to sickness and death. The World Health Organization (WHO) articulated its deep concern, mostly on climatic change’s effects on human beings health. Due to the climatic changes many dangerous, harmful and infectious diseases such as the hepatitis C, SARS, hantavirus, HIV and AIDS, malaria, typhoid, cancer and many other dangerous disease has increased a lot. Climatic changes have also resulted in increasing the various vector-borne contagious diseases such as malaria. The main cause for the increasing rate of malaria diseases is the excessive rainfall and high humidity. The World Health Organization also considered that the malaria disease is the most sensitive to enduring climatic change. Because of the climatic changes the patterns of weather have totally changed which results in severe storms, hurricanes and in increased precipitation. And these natural disasters are quite incredible which results in the death toll. Alone in Myanmar around 20,000 people died from the destructive cyclone.

The warmer climate also shows adverse effect on human beings health and causes threat to worldwide food security. This situation is so critical that the world may face malnutrition problem in near future, the WHO warned about this serious problem and they had estimated the period that it may occur by 2030. They had also stated that this problem will be showing adverse effect in Southeast Asia. The global warming will result in various skin diseases, and on of the major diseases caused by warm climate is cancer, cancer patients are increasing day by day. Because of the dangerous result of the climatic change and continuing increase of infectious disease the United Nations has made an appeal to various governments of all over the world to take some affecting measure towards this dangerous situation.
